Monday Update

I had a garage sale last month, but didn't get rid of as much stuff as I had hoped. This past weekend I donated a bunch of clothes to Goodwill. It felt so great to get rid of the stuff that I collected 2 more bags full of clothes (some new with tags!) and 2 boxes of books. We love to read in our house and we had a lot of books that didn't sell on half.com. So I'm donating them. Here are some ideas of where to recycle your stuff!

Thursday Update

Today was Star Wars day. Cam is a big Star Wars fan and we went to see the free Regal showing of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars". Then we came home and Cam played Star Wars on Wii!! Star Wars overload!! But I guess on the bright side, I am learning about Star Wars, as I previously hardly knew anything about the movies. I hadn't seen them as a kid and only recently saw most of them.

We had a fun 4th of July weekend. On Friday, we went to see Ice Age. That was a cute movie. On Saturday, we went to a family cookout. I brought chocolate cookies and oatmeal cookies. Everyone had a fun time visiting. The kids also took turns riding the go-cart!

4th of July Weekend Update

A few days ago, Cam and I went to one of the free movies at Regal. The theatre was fairly full and noisy with all the kids! But my son loved watching "Alvin and the Chipmunks". We also got one of their $3 kids meals, which comes with popcorn, a small drink and candy. It was a pretty good deal, but it didn't come with a lot of popcorn.

We are having some strange weather here. It was warm yesterday, had the a/c on. Today, it's the 60's and cool. My husband took the photo above in downtown Cleveland of a small funnel cloud. Monday Update

We saw "Star Trek" at the theatre this weekend. It was really good! It was definitely not cheesy like the tv show from the 60's! Though as a kid, I did watch the Star Trek tv show reruns. I think Chris Pine makes a much better Captain Kirk! We've seen several movies the past few months, some for free, because of a gift card I got from Mypoints.com. I also am a member of the Regal club (it's free!) and received a free movie ticket and free popcorn.
